I’m a NYC local, macro photographer, invertebrate/arthropod enthusiast and hobbyist, an aspiring entomologist, who wants to share and learn about the beauty and wonder of the underappreciated natural world.

Two new species I am working on: Neonemobius palustris, the Sphagnum ground cricket and Oecanthus sp., the common tree cricket! As well as updates on my other Orthopteran projects: Amblycorypha oblongifolia, Pterophylla camellifolia, Meconema thalassinum, Scudderia furcata, Neoxabea dipunctata, Phaneroptera nana, Melanoplus sp., Hapithus saltator, and Ceuthophilus maculatus.

As well as updates on my other Orthopteran projects: Amblycorypha oblongifolia, Pterophylla camellifolia, Meconema thalassinum, Myrmecophilius pergandei, Scudderia furcata, Neoxabea dipunctata, and Ceuthophilus maculatus.
